Flower soft product focus

Hi All!  I have a fun product focus for you today!  One of my favorite products:  Flower Soft!

I am going to show you a cute trick with this super fun product!

First stamp your image.  If I am coloring with copics I ALWAYS use Memento Black.  I also always cut the paper into quarters so I have room for whatever I decide to do with the image.

Then color the image with whatever colors you look.

Here are the copics I used for this image.

I used the large circle nesties to cut out my image.  I emboss the image and then I sponge around the edge.  Using a pencil I draw in a line for a border for the flower soft.

I decided to use Raspberry fizz ultra fine because i loved the color!  If you want more of a shag then use regular flower soft.  Also the ONLY adhesive I use with flower soft is the flower soft adhesive because it comes out white and can be easily manipulated with your finger and it dries clear.

I use the pencil to break some up in the lid.  it is easier to sprinkle on that way.  Once I sprinkle it on I push it into the glue and try to fill any holes that may appear.

This is Kraftin Kimmie's Betty on her shag rug.

Finish up you card and you are finished!  I used Lacy circles nesties to compliment the embossed circle nesties.

Hope you liked the fun tutorial.

Have a great week!  And you still have time to enter our birthday challenge!

Kraftin Kimmie-Eva

Hi All!

Hope you are having a great week!  This months challenge is Birthday and you have plenty of time to enter!!!  I tend to make a lot of birthday cards so this challenge was perfect for me!

For this weeks card I used the super cute Eva from Kraftin Kimmie!  I used copics to color her and used a fleurette and button from my stash!  I have been trying to use what I have so I can buy some more goodies!

Hope you all have a fantastic week!!!!

Eva Calendar page

Hi All!

It feels like forever since I have posted!  I am keeping this a little short because there wasn't much to this project!  I ended up giving away the first January Page I did and I made another one for myself.  Although I don't have very many pictures for January so I need to get better at taking photos!

I used the adorable Kraftin Kimmie Stamp Eva.  She is sooooo much fun to color and was a had to have once I saw her on the One Crazy Stamper Store site!  She is just so SASSY!

Hope you all have a wonderful week!

Happy Stamping,

MFT--Fighting 50

Hi All,

Well I have had some major technical problems this week!  Monday my laptop slipped off my desk and I did catch it before it full hit the ground BUT it jarred the hard drive and created a disk error.  It now takes 45 minutes to turn my computer on and load windows.  As a blogger I use my computer a lot, as a student it is like an extra arm so we tried everything to save it and it went bye-bye!  So Wednesday night we went to purchase a new laptop hopefully one that will last longer then 11 months unlike the last one.  This is my 3rd laptop purchase in 4 years.  So we made it count and I got a beauty of a laptop.  It is top of the line and pretty much is one of the best out there.  Of course with my clumsiness my hubby was sure to purchase one of those accident protection plans and he got the max so I am covered for 3 years if I drop it, break it, crack the screen, and pretty much everything else I can possibly do to the thing.

An example of how cursed I am with electronics is a few years ago I was holding my MP3 player and I touched metal.  Well, I had so much static electricity built up that the shock actually surged my MP3 player and fried it.  So the reason for this long winded story is why my picture is not watermarked because for the past 2 days we have been slooooowwwwlllllyyyyy getting data off of my old laptop and putting it on our external hard drive.

I have a 50th surprise party to go to in a few weeks and I thought this Fight Like a Girl A La Mode by My Favorite Things would make a FUN birthday card.  I used my snap together alphabet to create the saying.  I also used the large circle and large scalloped circle nesties.  I also used sew easy floss for the button.

Masculine TGF

It is hard for me to make masculine cards!  I like pinks and purples, lace and bling.  None of that spells out masculine!  This was one of those cards that just came to me!

MFT wishing you luck!

Hi All!

It seems like every week gets busier and busier and I wish I could add a few more hours each day just to stamp!  I see soooo many cute ideas out there but there is just not too much extra time!  I had a little bit of time today to play and I had to pull out some fun, bright colors!

I love this My Favorite Things A La Mode  Talk Nerdy to Me!  It can be used for soooo many different occasions and I love when I can use a single stamp for different purposes!  These stamps are also soooo much fun to color!

Hope you have a wonderful week!
