The last of spring is drifting away to scorching CA heat

We had guest staying with us for the wedding and to be honest no one uses our nice guest bathroom upstairs but us. So I still had snowflake candles in there......I needed something springlike but I didn't want to go out and buy a lot of stuff and I remembered I had a few of these vanilla scented candles in the closet so I made a few pillars with tulips on them for the bathroom and it worked great!

What's up doc?

Well I did a color challenge in May and like always I forgot to photograph and post it in time. I have done a lot of challenges and I am sooo lagging on posting. I am working on changing that and getting this blog rolling. I have a lot of stuff to show. I used prismas and gamsol to color this lil guy

Spring is almost over.....

I colored each tulip with copics and cut them out. I used birds and swirls CB folder for the background and some pretty ribbon that i have had forever and have never used before now!!!!

Lucky Duck

I could not get enough from the sentiments from this set. You Quack me up is a great set for anytime. I would have never thought of these colors together. but it just gave me a fun spring card.....I feel like a Lucky Duck too because CA is having wonderful weather!

Hanna's Guest Designer call

I have a scor-pal. But besides doing the basic scores I have yet to really use this baby to it's full potential. so I looked and looked on the scor pal site at all the e-zines with tutorials. I saw one that I thought was super cute and since I needed a place to store my Hanna Images. I decided to enter into their Guest Designer Challenge over on SCS forums found HERE.

Here is what I came up with:

Now I have a place to store my colored and stamped Hanna Images....I am one of those people that I have a basket of colored images of all kinds and if I am in a hurry for a card I have some selection to use. It can be kinda confusing when I have different Vendors so I was happy to be able to start separating them.

Sophisticated spring

That is how I see this card. with the shimmer white cardstock cuttlebugged with fancy script and the fancy silver ribbon. just a very elegant card. For the life of me I could not get a great picture. if I used the flash it would have the worst glare.

Another Wedding Post

Wanted to share with you some photos from my Bridal shower.....I had an awesome bridal party and an exceptional Maid of honor. This was back in April.

This is me.....I was so excited cause to me this was the official start to all the wedding "stuff" so I hadn't ate anything and my MOH made baked brie my fave!!!!

This was a cute thing every made for me.....it is a bouquet made of hearts and pipe cleaners and it has advice for married life....

This was my cake. the theme was Tiffany blue and my mom made this cake for me. Her company is called Deb B Cakes

Fire cracker tulips

This is one of my favorite cards I used with Tip Toe Tulip It is such a fun set! I am big on using my stipple brushes all the time I think it is so much fun and adds such a great look. I also used my cuttlebug for the background and patted my whisper white craft pad over it to add depth. this is one of my first cards I had made using my copics as well
