Obsession or Hobby?

I am sure our loved ones would say obsession but they just don't understand the joy of a great stamp sale:) Sally does! The sentiments in this stamp set are so true.....kinda scary

This set was great for Valentines and I could not wait to use it! I also got to use my new liquid pearls for her bracelt which added a really nice elegant look to it! I also love this ribbon....it is so shiny IRL!

Ok in the stamping world Diamonds are NOT a girls best friend...but her tape gun is and of course the best ribbon and some wonderful scissors can make us feel like a million bucks....or is that just me?

I had to do a card showing these things as I could not live without them. can you believe this stamp set comes with 20 images? there are so many ways to use this set and I have barely been able to show you some of the ways to use it. This set is stamper sallyand she is a lady after my own heart.

Simple and easy

Lately I have been really about simple cards that can be mass produced easily. this one was perfect because I had this beautiful DP that matched the parisian stamp set beautifully.

this is how I felt this last weekend. I was so very behind on just about everything.....I felt frazzled, stressed, and just a little crazy. So I holed up in my stamp room and tried to create

L'eiffel.....brings back so many memories

I went to Paris for the 2008 New Year and it is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been and I loved every minute! this set brought back so many memories and made me want to hop on a flight and get back there...

I wanted to make an image the reminded me of the Eiffel Tower at dusk....once again using my stipple brushes. I used this pretty shimmer navy blue paper by bazzil.

Are you prepared to see 2 of my favorite stamp sets Pam has come out with.....I know I say that about all of them but it is easy to say when you get new rubber to play with that you love! I have one last card that I found that I NEVER showed you in December.....

This is the first "long card" I have made and there are definitely thinks I would change....Bigger sentiment more embellishment. this is also the first time using my stipple brushes on this one and I love that technique.....it adds the look of sponging without the effort

Die-Normous Fun Blog Hop.... FireCracker Style

Today for this special FCD blog hop, we are going to have some "DIE-NORMOUS" fun!! What does that mean you ask? Here's the creation I made with the "Forgive me" die-cuts and stamp set!! I stamped one flower on the white piece of paper and water colored and colored my die cut flower separately and added those on. It was super easy! I used a great idea Ursela had about using removable double sided tape and using a piece of acetate to lay the die cute directly over the stamp! It was so easy that this is a great idea if you would like to mass produce birthday cards, Christmas cards, even everyday cards to have on hand. this will save you so much time!

I swear I am alive...

sorry for the delay in posting. I have a ton of stuff to share with you. the following weeks I will be sharing new projects, 2 new stamp sets from Firecracker Designs, and also sharing with you the reason why there has been a delay in posting.

Also, we (the firecracker Design team) will be doing our monthly blog hop. this month is going to be so much fun with being able to use the wonderful die cuts Pam carries on the website.
