Pretty Girl Birthday Hop

WOW!  Two January Birthday hops!  Aren't you lucky for all the fabulous, delicious eye candy!  I had to use the new Betty cause OMG I am dieting and I am hoping she is making me something yummy to eat.  This cake on the card looks delicious!  mmmm birthday cake..... OK so I have been doing the 17 day diet now for 10 days!  and just like they said I lost 10 pounds in the first week.  I am wearing jeans I haven't worn since my wedding 2 years ago.  When I stepped on the doctors scale the other day and saw that weight loss I almost cried cause I was sooo excited!

OK enough about dieting and back to yummy birthday cake.  It just happens to be my Pretty friend Amber's Birthday!  Betty and I had to whip her up a fabulous cake with some yummy butter cream icing (that's the kind I like and I happen to sneak spoonfuls of the icing when baking...)

If you just happened to stop by and would like to go through the complete hop make sure you stop at the Paper Pretties Blog.  If you are continuing on the next stop is the simply fabulous Nadine Buhl.  Have a fabulous hop and once again a very, very Happy Birthday to Amber!

Kraftin Kimmie Love you!

Have you entered our challenge yet?  it's almost time to pick this months winner so make sure you get your submission in!  I had to get one more love card in although with next month being the love month you might see tons more!

I had to use my Kraftin Kimmie Goldilocks because she is just so adorable and obviously loves her teddy bears!  I wanted something a little non traditional for love so I did green, yellow, and blue.
I'm going to keep this short tonight because it is FREEZING here.  I know all of you crafty people with snow and below zero weather are laughing at this cold California girl but I swear I am shivering!  Happy crafting and thanks so much for all of your wonderful supportive comments on our blog!

Supplies: Stamps: Kraftin Kimmie (Goldilocks), Sentiment is Kraftin Kimmie Josephine  Copics: C1, E00, E53, E31, YR24, E43, E30, G94, R20 the ribbon and design paper is from my personal stash.

Paper Dolls with Kraftin Kimmie

This adorable Kraftin Kimmie image is Charlotte!  She is available over at One Crazy Stamper.  I used my new fiskers Upper Crest punch.  I have seen this punch used so many adorable ways that I HAD to have it and as soon as Joann's had a 50% off coupon I ran, not walked to get my punch!  I used some very cute kaiser self-adhesive pearls which are also available over at One Crazy Stamper!

The cute paper is from Basic Grey and I cut out her doll and popped her up to give her a little dimension.

The Greeting Farm Beauty

I used Cheeky Beauty for today's creation.  The images are so much fun to color and are perfect if you are learning and practicing your shading and coloring technique with copics.  I also used Stickles cotton candy for the shoes and crown.  I used oval nestabilities and also kept the die on the paper to sponge the image.  This makes a nice frame.

If I haven't said it enough I really, really, really love these images!  And thankfully you can find them and way more at One Crazy Stamper.

Lovely Lolli Anya

I followed the sketch over on Club Anya and Friends blog and because I am probably one of the few people in the world to not have scallop circle nesties I had to think of something to make a scallop circle....Well, looking around my room I realized I had a mini collection of buttons.  All colors and sizes and styles.  so why not FINALLY use some!!!

I also realized I haven't used design paper in awhile and I totally love how this turned out.  She was soooo much fun to color.  One Crazy Stamper is my GO TO place to purchase the greeting farm stamps!!!!
This image was colored with copics!

Stampin Up Sympathy

The flower is from the last catalogs level 3 hostess set.  I love it!  I used craft white ink on crumb cake paper.  The sentiment is from thoughts and prayers which is another set from stampin up.  This card was made for a lady that I recently met at a cancer support group that I attended with my friend.  She recently lost her husband to a battle with Cancer and although we had just met my thoughts and prayers are with her during this difficult time.
Thanks for stopping by and for your constant support of this blog!

Hi All. I am back with a new image from the absolutely, phenomenal ARTish over at Paper Pretties!  Isn't this image adorable!  This adorable fella is Ian Laurent and you can see more awesome eye candy on the Paper Pretties Blog.

I used copics to color the image and a fun glitter pen to color over the purple butterfly's to give them some sparkle.  The sentiment is from Bugs and Fishes which is an adorable Paper Pretties Set.

Also the wonderful Heather has started a new thread over on the Pretties Forum for Freebies and Specials.  That's right by clicking there and becoming a pretties follower of the thread you can have access to all the new freebies and new specials info!  Also you can ask questions and really just hang out with the pretties girls!

My first puddlejumper...

I know you are all shocked...SO AM I!!!  How was I able to resist this cuteness for SO LONG!!!  Plus I was very impressed with the super-duper fast response from Lori.  I think I paid this morning at 7 and within 30 minutes my new image was waiting for me.  I used Harper from the brand spankin new release.  She comes with a doll and 2 very adorable sentiments.  I showcased one of them on my card.  I also purchased her so I could play in the brand new challenges and this is the first EVER challenge and it is a color challenge.  I wasn't sure how I would like them all together and OMGosh I am in LOVE with this color combo!  It is bright but very cute!  Because of the bright color combo I am also using this card as my last submission to the 7kids college fund hot or cold challenge....

Isn't she adorable!!!  I had SOOOO much fun coloring her and I can not gush enough about these images!

Supplies:  Stamps: Lori Boyd Designs Puddle Jumpers (Harper) Paper: Stampin Up (Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise, Old Olive, Regal Rose) DP: Stampin Up retired SAB pack.  Accessories: Sewing machine, Fiskars uppercrest punch

BIG Bear Hugs...

If you haven't noticed yet I am completely, hopelessly addicted to Kraftin Kimmie and honestly I wouldn't have it any other way!  I love the moonlight whispers collection and I am super lucky that Lora over at One Crazy Stamper has tons of the connection available and she also has the new release stamps as soon as Kraftin Kimmie releases them!  How cool is that!

I used Kraftin Kimmie (Goldilocks) and of course colored her with copics.  I used my sewing machine to stitch around the image and I distresses and wrinkled the edges.

This card was made for a friend of mine that is currently battling cancer.  She is very strong and is dealing with a lot right now so anything I can do to help, I'm trying to do.http://www.onecrazystamper.com/category_9/Copic-Products.htm

Another challenge post....

***2nd post for today please scroll down to see my challenge card***

For the first time EVER, EVER, EVER I actually did the Sketch for you to try over at I <3 2stamp.  It was all of that crazy can not sleep so might as well stamp kinda mojo I had working for me!  I had fun with this sketch and I also kept the colors the same as the previous challenge card for the Color Throwdown cause I really wanted to send her another bright fun card that might make her smile.  My friend is currently battling cancer and I have taken her to her treatments and as hard as this is I can not comprehend what her family is going through.  Since the colors are so bright and I used Eleanor from Kraftin Kimmie in her super cute swimsuit and I was really good about not stitching and using twine and all of that good stuff I am also entering her in this weeks Kraftin Kimmie Challenge.  I had so much fun entering all of the challenges this past week.

Here is the Sketch for you to try!  I love this sketch and will definitely revisit it in the future!
Here is my card featuring Eleanor from Kraftin Kimmie!  You can purchase her from One Crazy Stamper.  If you look really close at the sentiment you will see the very faint soft sky blue ribbon.

Supplies:  Stamps: Kraftin Kimmie (Eleanor), Stampin Up (Best Yet), Verve (Believe) Paper: Stampin Up (Melon Mambo, Early Espresso) DP: Making Memories (Raspberry Small Dots) Copics: E79, R20, E25, Y08, E00, RV04, G94 Ink: Melon Mambo, Bashful Blue, Versamagic wheat Accessories: Fiskars uppercrest punch, Cuttlebug swiss dots folder, making memory brads, square nestabilities, SU 1 1/4 circle punch, SU 1 3/8 circle punch

Some more challenges....

Hi all!  Well I am taking full advantage of extra time before I start school next week.  Then it will be battling the books to find time to stamp and to keep up with my design team commitments.  Thankfully I design for companies that make it easy to LOVE their images and make me WANT to find the time to play with those images.....why else would I be 3 weeks ahead and already have a stack of extras to share!

Today is no exception and I made a card to enter into two challenges.  One challenge is the Kraftin Kimmie Challenge which is to use no ribbon, stitching, thread, twine, etc.  UGH this was HARD!!!  I still feel like this card is missing a major something....  The other challenge is for There She Goes Clear Stamps.  This is my first time entering their challenge and I wasn't able to use their line of stamps since I haven't broke down and purchased any although if they keep releasing adorable stamps my wish list is going to get so long I may just go broke!  Their challenge was a color challenge and it was to use Black, Red, Grey, and Pink....OK so combining these challenges were hard!!!!  but it was fun to challenge myself and try!

Well this is my attempt.  I finally inked up my angry ballerina that I have had for MONTHS!!!!  of course you can purchase her and many other yummy Kraftin Kimmie Stamps from One Crazy Stamper.  I thought this sentiment from Verve would be super cute with how annoyed she looks!  Hope you all have a wonderful day and can get some time to join some challenges!!!

Hot and sketchy challenges

Hi all!  Well I had some time to complete a few cards for some challenges and was really trying to use stamps I hadn't used in awhile or stamps I had never used but HAD to have!

This image is Fleur Anya and you can find her at One Crazy Stamper.  She is one of my favorite stamps to color because now matter how much of a beginner you are with copics she always looks like you are an artist.  or at least that is how I feel when I color her!

She was stamped with memento black and colored with copics and I followed the sketch over on The Greeting Farm's blog that Mercy did and also picked my colors for the "hot" part of the "hot or cold" challenge over at 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog.

Stamp: The Greeting Farm, Fleur Anya, Stampendous, everything happy; Paper: Stampin up Daffodil Delight, tempting turqoise; Pattern Paper: Retired Stampin Up; Copics: 0, E34, E57, E47, BG05, E00, R20, Y21, Y08; Other: ribbon-stampin up, baubles, sewing machine, punches-stampin up

When Pigs fly!

This is the newest image by Artish over at Paper Pretties!  I love this so much and it was super fun to color!  I have been a fan of this paper lately.  I think it is from a HUGE book by DCWV that I have had forever!  I also received this super cut twill certainly celery from a friend recently and could not wait to use this.  Plus it is 40 degrees here in "sunny California" so I needed something to brighten my day!

I even decorated the inside!  I know, amazing!  The sentiment is from Flutter by Sophia over at Paper Pretties.
Make sure you visit the Paper Pretties blog so you can see all of the other fun inspirations and the other release today.  There are plenty of yummy eye candy for you!

Retro Beauty

Awhile ago I saw a really cool black and White/sepia copic tutorial and this stamp just screamed retro to me.  I really wanted to try to make this look sepia colored with black matting like the older photos.  It was VERY easy to color this way once you had the right colors.  for the black and white photo look you need to use copics but all the grey C's and if you want the sepia look you use the gray W's (that's warm and cool tones).  For this I used all of the W's (W1, W3, W5, W7) for the skin I used E43, E41, E43.  these are pretty light earth tones and really help keep the look.  I used a scor-pal to make the grid on the background and some pretty kaiser rhinestones that are colored pink to give a hint of color.

The sentiment says with all my heart so I think this card really qualifies for this months "LOVE" challenge.  Have you played along???  This theme is really fun because love cards just make people happy!  You have until the end of February to enter so hopefully you found some fun inspiration!

Supplies: Copics (W1, W3, W5, W7, E40, E41, E43), Rhinestones, The Greeting Farm (Cheeky Beauty), Scor-Pal

One Crazy Stamper sponsored by Your Next Stamp!

I love these super cute new valentines day images!!!  And a super cute, easy peasy tip for when you need to get all matchy-matchy....use the color of the copic you like to color your rhinestone and pearls.  I really wanted red rhinestones but I had NONE in my collection (omg can you believe that!!!) so i took my R29 and colored the rhinestones.  I used cotton candy distress stickles for all the sparkles!!!

Make sure you visit the challenge blog
